Represented 24 families who lost loved ones in the airline crash of American Airlines Flight 587, the second deadliest air disaster in U.S. history;

Represented proprietary trader of multinational bank in employment dispute when trader was improperly terminated and financial institution failed to distribute agreed-upon bonus.

Result: Litigation strategy resulted in negotiated settlement whereupon trader received over $400,000 in additional compensation and offer of reinstatement;

Represented public relations firm when prominent Washington D.C. corporate brand political lobbyist sought judgment on firm's promissory note. Firm's counterclaim exposed lobbyist's fraudulent diminution of value of securities held in escrow as collateral on the note.

Result: Multi-jurisdictional legal strategy secured continuity of firm and protected corporate assets;

Litigated a dispute between major urban apparel manufacturing company and former employee fashion designer. Company brought suit against designer alleging theft of intellectual property by providing designs to competitor.

Result: Negotiated confidential settlement preserving property rights of designer;

Represented a teenage girl brutally assaulted and raped in the elevator of her grandparents' apartment building by an individual who gained access to the premises as a result of the building's negligence.

Result: $900,000 settlement after mediation;

Defended a police officer and Town in a civil rights action pursuant to Section 1983 wherein plaintiff claimed individual police officers used excessive force and conspired with the Town to cover-up the assault and wrongful death of plaintiff's decedent.

Result: Confidential settlement during trial;

Pro bono representation of a burn victim severely injured in the attacks on September 11, 2001.

Result: confidential settlement as part of victim's compensation program;

Represented individual in an action against the City of New York, who suffered severe injuries including multiple fractures and brain damage, when the motor vehicle he was operating was struck by a police vehicle that was responding to a call.

Result: Obtained plaintiff's verdict resulting in a multi-million dollar award;

Represented construction worker in an action against the owner of the building where the worker fell off of a six foot high
scaffold, resulting in a knee injury requiring arthroscopic surgery.

Result: Obtained a plaintiff's verdict resulting in an award of $215,000;

Represented a young man in an action against the owner's of a bar and the stockbroker who struck the plaintiff in the face with a beer bottle, causing facial lacerations and scarring.

Result: Negotiated significant confidential settlement in favor of plaintiff with the bar and the stockbroker;

Represented an individual in a civil rights action against a city police department assaulted by two police officers while in police custody after being falsely arrested, suffering orbital fracture.

Result: Negotiated confidential settlement in favor of plaintiff;

Represented a national general contracting firm, in a personal injury action, sued by employee of local airport, injured on
the job while traversing construction area in the airport, suffering blindness of one eye.

Result: Obtained dismissal of action as against general contractor;

Represented an internationally renowned Manhattan hotel, in a personal injury action, sued by employee of construction company, performing work in the hotel, when he tripped and fell on piece of debris on sidewalk in front of hotel after working hours, suffering a fracture right arm.

Result: Obtained defense verdict before Kings County Supreme Court jury;

Represented a grade school female who was dragged approximately 300 feet by a New York City subway car, suffering
fractured leg, multiple scars and psychological damages.

Result: $3.15 Million Dollar Verdict in favor of the plaintiff from a Bronx County State Supreme Court jury.

Represented a 65 year old driver/laborer involved in a 5-10 mph automobile accident who allegedly sustained torn rotator cuff.

Result: $345,000 Verdict in favor of the plaintiff from a Richmond County State Supreme Court jury.

Represented a 90 year old pedestrian struck by a commercial vehicle resulting in a fractured hip in Richmond County, New York.

Result: $450,000 pre-trial settlement.

Represented a 55 year old pedestrian struck by a U.S. Army vehicle resulting in a fractured fibula and tibia. Defendants were represented by the United States Attorneys Office for the Southern District of New York.

Result: $800,000 pre-trial settlement.
