Ed Woods serves as counsel to DeSimone, Aviles, Shorter & Oxamendi, LLP. Mr. Woods has extensive experience in the area of entertainment law. Mr. Woods supervises over 75 clients based in recording, publishing, film and television industries.

His primary focus is contractual deal making and negotiations on behalf of recording artists, records producers, songwriters, record industry executives, independent record labels and recording studios.

Currently, Mr. Woods' client roster includes platinum status producers, recording artist, and Grammy award winning songwriters, including but not limited to Grammy recording artist Stephanie Mills, Angela Winbush, Kelly Price, Mr. Cheeks, FUBU Records, Sharissa, Allen Iverson, Bad Boy Hitmen Producers and

Motown recording artist Latif. Mr. Woods' hard work has recently awarded him the position of Executive Vice President of Black Music at Casablanca Records.

Mr. Woods is a 1994 graduate of Howard University School of Law and a 1991 graduate of Hampton University where he received B.A. in Sociology. Mr. Woods is a member of the New York Bar and Vice President/East Coast of the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association (BESLA).
